Our Mission
Our mission is to nurture the holistic development of young athletes by blending physical fitness, teamwork, and character development with a strong foundation in Catholic teachings. While we share a passion for sports similar to other youth organizations, our unique focus on faith, values, and community sets us apart. Through our programs, young athletes grow spiritually, morally, and personally alongside their athletic achievements.
Key Features of CYO
Faith Integration
We integrate prayer, reflection, and discussions about morals and values into our activities. This faith-based approach helps our athletes grow in both their sport and their spiritual lives.
Core Values
CYO emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and integrity. These values are actively practiced and reinforced throughout every event and training session.
Inclusivity & Community
Our programs welcome athletes of all skill levels and backgrounds. We foster a tight-knit community where every participant feels a sense of belonging and where lasting friendships are formed.
Family Involvement & Positive Role Models
Parents, siblings, and community members are encouraged to engage as coaches, volunteers, and supporters. Our dedicated coaches and mentors serve as positive role models, guiding our athletes on and off the field.
Focus on Personal Growth & Safety
We prioritize the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our athletes by providing a safe and supportive environment that promotes discipline, compassion, perseverance, and selflessness.
Faith-Based Events & Leadership Opportunities
Beyond sports, CYO hosts events and retreats that deepen faith and community bonds. Older participants can also take on leadership roles as mentors, coaches, or volunteers, contributing to our community’s growth.
