I was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and have been a lifelong member of the Diocese of Rochester. I attended Aquinas Institute before continuing my studies at St. John Fisher College and Becket Hall. I attended Catholic University of America, Saint Mary’s Seminary, Saint Bernard’s Institute, and additional studies at the Mexican American Cultural Center in San Antonio, Texas.
I was ordained a priest in 1993 and have been blessed to serve in various parishes throughout the diocese. In 2014, I was appointed pastor of St. Kateri Parish, where I have the privilege of guiding our faith community.
In my free time, I enjoy music, reading, and spending time with parishioners, family, and friends.
I was born and raised in Horseheads, New York. I come from a family of five and am the oldest of three kids. I have two younger sisters who are both teachers. I graduated from Horseheads High School in 2013. From a young age I had the desire and felt called to be a priest, so I entered seminary immediately after graduating high school.
I spent two years at Cathedral Seminary House of Formation and St. John’s University in Queens, NY. At the invitation of the Bishop, I applied to the Basselin Scholars Program at Theological College and The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in philosophy in 2017 and my licentiate (master’s degree) in philosophy in 2018. The Bishop then asked me to complete my seminary formation in Rome, Italy at The Pontifical North American College. I studied theology for three years at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum).
After studying theology, the Bishop asked me to study canon law. I completed my licentiate in canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University in June 2024. I was ordained to the priesthood at Sacred Heart Cathedral on July 2, 2022. In addition to serving at St. Kateri Parish, I am a judge on the diocesan tribunal.
In my free time I love going to the lake, traveling, reading, playing the piano and organ, and having a good meal with friends.
